A Dialogue about Mother's Day

Hasan:
Hi Ayesha, did you know Mother's Day is coming up soon?
Ayesha:
Yes, Hasan! I'm really looking forward to it. Do you usually do something special for your mom?
Hasan:
Absolutely! I usually start the day by making breakfast for her. She loves pancakes.
Ayesha:
That's so sweet! I like to write a special card and give her flowers. It makes her very happy.
Hasan:
Do you know how Mother's Day started?
Ayesha:
Yes, I learned that it started in the USA. It was first announced as a holiday in 1914.
Hasan:
Interesting! I also heard that not all countries celebrate it on the same day.
Ayesha:
That's right. For example, the UK celebrates it on a different date, but most countries celebrate it on the second Sunday of May.
Hasan:
It's a wonderful day to show appreciation to mothers all over the world.
Ayesha:
I agree. Mothers do so much for us, so it's nice to have a day to honor them.
