1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Sun Light AI’s websites, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

2. Eligibility & Accounts

• Students under 18. Use requires permission from a parent/guardian or an authorized school representative, consistent with applicable law.
• Account security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activity on your account.
• Accurate information. Provide true, current information and update it when it changes.

3. Educational Use

The Services are designed to support learning, homework, and classroom activities. Schools and teachers may use the Services to assign work and review progress. We do not provide legal, medical, or professional advice.

4. User Content & License

You may submit content, including text, answers, messages, feedback, and other materials (“User Content”). You retain ownership of your User Content. You grant Sun Light AI a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and process your User Content solely to operate and improve the Services.

Do not upload content that you do not have the right to share or that violates others’ rights or the law. We may remove content that we reasonably believe violates these Terms.

5. Prohibited Conduct

• Attempting to access accounts or data without authorization; interfering with or disrupting the Services
• Posting or sharing content that is unlawful, threatening, harassing, deceptive, or harmful to minors
• Reverse engineering, scraping, bulk extraction, or using automated means not permitted by us
• Bypassing security or rate limits; introducing malware or harmful code
• Using the Services to build competing products or models without written permission

6. AI Features & Accuracy

The Services may use AI to generate explanations, hints, or evaluations. AI outputs can be incomplete or incorrect. Use your judgment and consult teachers or authoritative sources where needed. We may use aggregated, de-identified interaction data to improve our AI features.

7. Payments & Subscriptions

Some features may require payment (“Paid Services”). Prices, billing cycles, and refund policies will be presented at checkout or in your account. Taxes may apply. If you enroll in a subscription, it will renew automatically until you cancel through your account settings or by contacting us in advance of renewal.

If you are not offering any Paid Services yet, you may ignore this section; the rest of these Terms still apply.

8. Privacy

Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy. It explains what data we collect and how we use and protect it.

9. Third-Party Services

The Services may include links to, or integrations with, third-party services (e.g., sign-in providers, analytics, content hosts). We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content or practices. Your use of third-party services is subject to their terms and policies.

10. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Services, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, if required by law, or to protect users or the Service. You may stop using the Services at any time, and you may request account deletion per the Privacy Policy.

11. Disclaimers

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that results will meet your needs.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SUN LIGHT AI AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND PARTNERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR REVENUE, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY.

TO THE EXTENT LIABILITY CANNOT BE EXCLUDED, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICES IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US (IF ANY) FOR THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

13. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Sun Light AI and its affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the Services, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Courts located in Dhaka, Bangladesh shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or the Services, unless a different jurisdiction is required by mandatory law.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above will reflect the latest version. If changes are material, we will provide reasonable notice. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
